What's in your Carpet?

• What type of traffic does your carpet see on a daily basis?
• How soiled is your carpet? Light, moderate, heavy?

10 Ways to Spring Clean Like the Professionals

1.) Work Down– Start at the top of your home and work your way down

2.) Shed– Get rid of anything  you haven’t used in the past year

3.) Curtain Call– Wash or dry clean curtains at least once a year to prevent rot

4.) Deep Clean– Carpets should be professionally cleaned at least twice per year

5.) Thwart Moths– Clean inside of drawers and closets with cedar wood oil

6.) Brighten Up– Remove shades and globes from lamps and light fixtures and wash w/ mild dish soap.
7.) Turn Over– Flip your mattresses every 3 months and switch head & foot to    preserve shape and vacuum mattresses on a light setting.

8.) Freshen the Beds– Launder all bedding and pillows

9.) Cheer Upholstery– Loose upholstery covers should be washed or dry cleaned and put back on while still damp to re-shape them.
